An airdrop is when someone gives away tokens related to cryptocurrency or an NFT project. It is normally given to users who qualify under certain terms or accomplish certain tasks. This is usually done as a promotion to encourage more people to use the product.

Since XRPL Labsʼ has integrated its XUMM wallet with GlobaliD, XRPL projects can use GlobaliD with XUMM wallet to verify that wallet addresses are associated with real human beings. This helps prevent bots or farmers from collecting more than their fair share during an airdrop.
