GiD Wallet & Availability

  • Updated

The GlobaliD wallet, powered by Uphold, is the world's first self-sovereign and private wallet that allows you to hold, convert and spend fiat and cryptocurrencies, equities, and other types of assets, and send assets to other people and organizations, while minimizing fees. GlobaliD believes that you have a right and a responsibility to your assets, just as we believe that you have a right and responsibility to a private identity.

Any who has a GlobaliD can activate a wallet as long as you verify and share certain Personal and Identifiable Information (PII) to keep you safe and to allow our wallet partner, Uphold, to fulfill its legal compliance obligations.

We support all countries except where disallowed by U.S. law, including: Central African Republic, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria
